Do Not Type The Recovery Phrase

Connection issues are usually caused by cables, browser permissions, firmware, app state, or wallet software. They should not require typing a recovery phrase into a website or chat.

Basic Checks

Try a data-capable USB cable
Unlock the device
Open the correct app on the device
Check browser permissions
Update wallet software
Check firmware only through official software
Restart the browser or app

Browser And App Issues

Some wallet flows work better in specific browsers. Extensions can also conflict. If you test another browser, navigate from the official wallet website and avoid sponsored search results that may lead to impersonation pages.

When To Escalate

Escalate to official support if the device is not recognized across cables and devices, if firmware updates fail, or if you see warnings about tampering. Never send the support team your recovery phrase.
