Airdrops Create Urgency
Fake claim pages often copy a project's branding and tell users there is only a short window to claim. The goal is to make users connect a wallet and approve a risky transaction before they verify the source.
Check The Source First
- Navigate from the official project website
- Compare the domain carefully
- Check official announcements
- Avoid sponsored search results
- Be suspicious of direct-message links
- Do not trust screenshots as proof
Before Signing
Read the wallet prompt. If the action asks for broad token approval, contract interaction, ownership transfer, or a message you do not understand, stop and verify through official support.
If You Already Signed
Disconnecting the site may not be enough. Review recent transactions and token approvals using reputable tools reached from trusted sources. If funds are at risk, move remaining assets to a fresh wallet created on a clean device.
